Coffee- (that really is hot chocolate)

I tried to make this photograph as unobvious as possible; being outside, and using a tea cup rather than a coffee cup. Though I do not drink coffee, I like the movement, and how long Abigail's (my lovely assistant) arm looks in the photograph.

I had a hard time choosing which photograph to post, but this one caught my eye because of the colors. I love the greenest of the water, and I like that the water is not the main focus, but it is what makes the photograph.

Mix n' Match

These first two photographs are very similar, I took one of my photographs, then overlapped them on top of a pattern. My third photograph, is somewhat odd, but also very interesting. I took one of my self portraits and overlapped it with a sunflower; my favorite flower.

Photo of the Week- Jumping

I posted 2 photos for "photo" of the week, because the gum boot jump is very little, so I thought I'd post one that showed a bigger jump.

Jeff Wall Remake

In my remakes I wanted to add a subtle difference. I used the same "pose", but rather than oranges I used grapefruits. Some of the angles, and shadows are off, but I believe both of the photographs reflect a similar emotion. In the second remake instead of doing a direct remake, I wanted to take a photograph that was taken more from "inspiration" from a painting, rather than a "remake". Though they are very similiar, I wouldn't call it a remake, because there are so many differences between the two images.

Abstract and Color Photography

This photograph is a great example of using the same color throughout the photograph to create interest. It also provides an example of an absract photograph. I then rocked the water bottle back and forth as I took the photograph, which resulted in it looking almost like a rose.

I love the use of color in this photograph. it really makes you wonder what created this color. What I did was melt crayon wax in a cooking pan, and the result was this!

The three repeating colors throughout these photographs unifies them as a group.
